Bio
Anjuli Maharaj Shah, D.O. combines non-pharmacologic approaches in addition to medication in her psychiatric treatment. She offers dedicated therapy sessions in addition to medication management appointments, and has a particular interest in nutritional psychiatry, having completed the nutritional psychiatry program at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. Education Previously, Dr. Shah served as Chief Resident for Education in the psychiatry program at Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine, where she completed her residency. She holds a medical degree from the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in North Carolina, and a bachelor degree in physiology and Spanish studies from the University of Minnesota. Location Dr. Shah is available to see patients located in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin. |

I have had focused training in various therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. I utilize therapeutic approaches in medication management appointments as well as dedicated therapy sessions. /

I have particular interests in integrative and nutritional psychiatry as well as cultural psychiatry. I understand the impact of environmental factors on mental health, and routinely discuss non-pharmacologic treatments with patients in addition to medications. /
