I am committed to inclusive mental health care.
I believe quality mental health treatment starts with feeling supported, accepted and heard. I am therefore intentional about providing a compassionate, safe and judgement-free space. This means appreciating any cultural, social, ethnic, gender or sexual identities important to a person’s experience of mental illness and healing. /

I strive to be a partner in your mental health journey.
I believe a therapeutic partnership respects patients’ personal values, strengths and expertise in their own experiences. In turn, I offer my professional knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric practices to give patients the tools with which to achieve the goals that are most meaningful to them. As part of fostering partnership, I emphasize transparency, keeping patients informed about diagnosis, medications and treatment options. /
