I integrate psychotherapy into my practice of psychiatry.
During my residency in psychiatry, I completed advanced training at Emory University's Psychoanalytic Institute. I enjoy integrating therapy into my practice, and am available for dedicated 50-minute therapy sessions in addition to standard 30-minute follow-up appointments. /

I am passionate about psycho-education.
I embrace the maxim: "self-knowledge is power". In addition to conventional psychiatry and psycho-therapy, I emphasize psycho-education: namely, the process by which patients are educated about their condition and given the tools to manage it holistically. /

I am sensitive to diverse cultural experiences.
As a first-generation immigrant who grew up in both China and Alabama, I adopt a multi-cultural approach to my practice of psychiatry. In that context, I am particularly interested in treating patients with immigrant backgrounds who may have experienced inter-generational trauma. /
