Bio
Olivetta Uradu, M.D. is a psychiatrist at Apraku Psychiatry working with adult individuals from a diversity of social and cultural backgrounds. Dr. Uradu treats mental health concerns including depression, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, OCD, ADHD, anxiety and stress related disorders. She has a particular interest in women’s mental health and substance use disorders. Education Dr. Uradu completed her residency at Yale University with a focus in adult and community psychiatry. She is currently specializing in addiction psychiatry. At Yale, Dr. Uradu has served as Chief Resident for the Department of Psychiatry and facilitated group therapy for Black women in the Connecticut mental health center, funded by the American Psychiatric Association and SAMSHA. She holds a doctor of medicine from the Howard University College of Medicine and a bachelors of science in biochemistry from the University of Louisville. |
